Oh you thinking you ‘broke free of the patriarchy’ when you stopped going to church?! Hahahah
In order to fully liberate yourself from those source/foundational stories, you need to see those stories, but they have so infiltrated our culture and are so reinforced by society you don’t see them - even with all of the work you have done. they are sooooo deep, so integral to the beliefs that have been handed down and conditioned in the last couple thousand years - new really.
These church scars/traumas you speak of - you can be liberated from them.
It isn’t taking on catholicism or christianity or shamanism or atheism or satanism.
It is taking on the corrupted beliefs that have infiltrated our culture and been so reinforced they are perceived as normal - which aren’t true.
You may choose after to stay in your religion. This isn’t anti-religion. It is putting everything on the altar to be examined - holding nothing sacred, but the truest expression of you.
This is not for the squeamish or the faint-of-heart. This is where only the boldest and bravest will go. This crucible will burn away all of the impure thoughts that aren’t absolutely true to you. Purifying you into your truest form.
